VIDEO SESSION 7: Hysteroscopy in Practice: Safe Access, Cavity Restoration, and Tissue Preservation
Monday, November 16, 2026
11:35 am - 12:35 pm
Room: RM310
Faculty: Anna J. Najor, Jessica DeLeeuw, Valerie O'Besso, William Nolan, Connie Liao, Mariana C. Vieira, Fleur Mak
Description: This session brings together practical hysteroscopic strategies that improve procedural safety, protect the endometrium, restore uterine-cavity anatomy, and solve difficult intrauterine problems. The sequence moves from ergonomics and image-guided decision-making to retained tissue, embedded devices, congenital cavity correction, suturing education, and high-risk myomectomy.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Apply ergonomic and image-guided strategies during hysteroscopy.
- Select tissue-preserving approaches for retained products and embedded devices.
- Recognize techniques for restoring abnormal or compromised uterine cavities.
- Anticipate risks when operating near a thin residual myometrium.
